Mark Zhu is a Chinese designer and photographer based in France.

He currently works as a typeface designer at Black[Foundry] in Paris, specializing in multi-script type design and typography, with a focus on Chinese and Latin. He holds an MA in typeface design from the University of Reading (UK), and a postgraduate diploma in typeface design from Ésad d’Amiens (France).

Besides design, he is also a photographer, mainly working in street photography. His photography work explores the human interactions with cityscapes and urban history, as well as the human perception of space and time through these interactions.
