倚声宋

倚声宋是一款为排印诗词而设计的半复刻宋体。字体支持汉字和拉丁字母。

汉字部分的设计灵感来源于一本清康熙年间的《钦定词谱》刻本。该词谱收录了一系列的词牌，用于指导词的创作。汉字的设计提炼了刻本字体中的一些主要特征，并将它们与更符合现代人阅读的汉字结构相融合，从而设计出一款略带古意的现代宋体，适用于排印古诗词以及其他历史文化相关的文字内容。

字体同时包含了拉丁字母。拉丁部分的设计基于西文中旧体衬线字体的骨架，并将刻本汉字的特征转化到拉丁字母中，从而使其尽可能地和汉字所带的古风相匹配。

字体名称”倚声“为古代对填词这一文学创作形式的别称，因为早期的词都是伴曲而唱的。英文名称来源于拉丁词”Prosodia“，意为对诗歌韵律的使用和研究。

Prosodia is a partial-revival typeface intended for setting classical Chinese poetry and related content, supporting Chinese and basic Latin.

The design of the Chinese characters draws inspiration from an 18th-century block-printed book, Imperial Collection of Tunes (钦定词谱), which is a compilation of metrical patterns used to guide the writing of classical ci poetry. The design extracts key features from the type in this book and mix them with modern standard Songti character structures that are more friendly to the present-day readers. The result is a more regularised and legible Songti typeface that still gives an impression of old block-printed books, which makes it suitable for setting classical poetry or other related content to invoke a sense of history.

The Latin is designed as a companion to the Chinese. The design is based on an old-style structure, and translates those same key features from the Chinese into Latin letters, in order to produce a similar impression of the Chinese .

The Chinese name of the typeface 倚声 (lit. “leaning on sounds”) comes from an alternative name for the process of writing ci poetry in ancient China, as this type of poetry was originally written as lyrics to accompany music. The English name comes from the Latin word for prosody, which is the study and the use of metrical patterns in poetic works.
